Cheruvannur G.M.L.P.S, New Client of Oréll Language Lab

Cheruvannur GMLPS, one of the leading Government schools in Malappuram has been selected to implement Oréll digital language lab, the progressive device for foreign language learning.

Oréll language lab has been installed as part of the ‘Complete Education Project’ initiated by the honourable MLA of Tirur legislative Assembly Mr C. Mammootty in co-operation with Keltron-India's first and the largest State electronics enterprise.

The head of Cheruvannur GMLPS was very supportive throughout the installation process and the teachers expressed their trust on Oréll language lab software in improving the language proficiency of GMLPS students. Following the installation, technical executive form Oréll delivered a brief description about the language lab to use the system effectively in communication sessions. Since the medium of instruction in Cheruvannur GMLPS is Malayalam, the language lab will be very useful for the teachers to give learner-centric language classes to students thereby developing the linguistic proficiency of students.

The two-way interaction feature of Oréll language lab helps the teacher to communicate properly with the students and to guide and instruct them individually in necessary times. Students can evaluate their speech/reading through comparing and assessing their own recorded voices with the original audio. The complimentary study materials provided along with the software is useful to the teacher while conducting remedial language classes using the digital language lab to create a positive and encouraging environment for students suffering from low-self esteem. In short, we assure you that the proper use of language lab can help the students of any medium to get confident in speaking English without the fear of committing grammar mistakes or any syntactic errors.

G.M.L.P.S Cheruvannur, established in 1930 is a co-educational school approved for primary only classes, which runs under the Department of Education- Kerala in the Tanur block of Malappuram district.
