Digital Language Lab at St. Joseph Teacher Education College

Teacher education colleges have been the premier clients of Oréll for years. This time, St. Joseph College of Education, one of the leading B.Ed colleges in Mysore has been listed among the premier clients of Orell through the installation of iTell-S1 in its campus to give productive training for the budding teachers in second/foreign languages.

As part of the installation, the Technical Support Executive from Oréll configured one teacher console and twenty student consoles and rendered training to the faculty and teacher-students of the college. iTell multimedia lab is a guide for students to acquire language skills for academic, formal and informal contexts. The interactive English lessons added in the software help students to learn day to day conversations, expressions, phrasal verbs, and grammatical structures correctly. The user-friendly platform of iTell enables both teachers and students to effectively conduct the class within the constraints of time.

St. Joseph College of Education, Mysore, a co- educational minority college of education founded in 1971 in the state of Karnataka was named after St. Joseph, its patron saint by the late Bishop of Mysore; the Most Rev.Dr.Mathias Fernandes. Coupled with the visionary zeal of the founder, and the dynamism of the founder Secretary, Rev Fr. Dennis Noronha, the college was established on the firm foundation of the motto of ' Love, Loyalty and Service’.
