NSS College, Ottapalam Sets off Digital Language Learning with iTell

Oréll language lab has been installed at NSS College, Ottapalam on February 23, 2017 by Mr. Cirin C Baby, our Technical Support Executive of South zone. iTell-S2, the Standard edition of Orell Language Lab was configured at the college smart room with one teacher console and twenty student consoles.

Oréll Language Lab is the state-of-the-art IT enabled audio-visual studio integrated with technological equipments engineered and architected into acoustics ambience. The software is tailor-made to meet the needs of the participants and is built on four core linguistic elements along with global pronunciation, public speaking, communication and soft skills, manners & etiquettes and interpersonal skills. Based on the latest teaching methodology advocated by the experts across the globe, iTell makes use of the highly advanced technological tools to facilitate learners with the optimum exposure to native speakers with audio- visual equipments and highly professional contents for language education.

N.S.S. College, Ottapalam affiliated to the University of Calicut, is one of the Arts and Science colleges under the management of Nair Service Society founded by Bharatha Kesari Sri. Mannath Padmanabhan. Ever since its inception in July 1961, the history of the college is marked by excellence in academic activities, service to the community and accountability. With its vision, “Lead me from darkness to Light”, the college offers thirteen U.G. and six Post graduate Programmes. It has been accredited in 2007 and has celebrated its golden Jubilee in 2011.
