Orell Language Lab Implemented Successfully at Sarat Centenary College

Sarat Centenary College has opted for Oréll language lab with the vision of imparting communication skills and English proficiency to the graduate students of Arts, Commerce and Science streams.

One plus twenty consoles of iTell standard edition were configured at the college by Mr. Abhinav, the technical support executive of Oréll. According to the head of the institution, “students are seen thrilled to use the digital lab and its listen, respond and compare features as it gives them numerous chances to improve their pronunciation and speech without any embarrassment. The privacy and self-paced learning facilitates students to learn without distracting others and thus the teacher can assign materials that suit his/her learning level and pace.”

Oréll language lab can integrate the method you desire to use allowing further addition of a large number of different activities in the classroom. Considering the functions of the software and the interaction between teacher and students and use of multimedia material, you can develop materials that are very much effective for students learning.

Sarat Centenary College, named after one of the greatest Bengali novelists, Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay was established in 1976 as a Junior College with the higher secondary course which was later upgraded into a Degree College in 1978 with all three streams Arts, Science and Commerce being affiliated under the University of Burdwan. The college stands at the heart of Dhaniakhali. It is under grants-in-aid Scheme of the Government of West Bengal.
