Oréll Language Laboratory at Mar Thoma College, Perumbavoor

iTell- S2 version got successfully implemented at Mar Thoma College for Women, Ernakulam.
The standard edition of the software with one plus twenty consoles was installed in the college language laboratory by Mr. Shajan, Technical Support Executive at Oréll. Ms. Preethi Sara Joseph, Head of the English Dept. who got impressed with iTell took initiative to implement iTell software at the lab.
The digital language lab software installed at the college provides user-friendly platform and unique tools for teachers to effectively communicate with students, manage class flow, and develop and deliver interactive lessons and activities to build student target communication skills in any world language. It is also beneficial to maximise time to develop the core language skills – Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing and to incorporate culture and to understand, and develop insight into the roots of the language and the people. iTell-S2 edition enables the teacher to easily pair or group students for collaborative learning in order to stimulate thinking and interpersonal communication.
Mar Thoma College for Women, situated in Perumbavoor, is the dream child of the late Thomas Mar Athanasius Suffragon Metropolitian of the Mar Thoma Church. The college is owned by the Mar Thoma Evangelistic Association and is affiliated with the Mahatma Gandhi University. It started functioning in 1982 as a junior college with the two groups. In 1991 it was upgraded to a degree college. The College is among the top ten institutes under Mahatma Gandhi University.
