iTell Starts Running at Sainik School Bhubaneswar

Sainik School Bhubaneswar opted for iTell language lab software with the intention of imparting quality second/foreign language education to the students and to imbibe confidence in students to communicate properly without any embarrassments.

iTell-S2, the advanced standard edition language learning software was installed by Mr. Abhinav Kunal, Technical Support Executive of East region. Considering the learning prerequisites of the institution, one plus twenty iTell consoles were set up at the institution. Following the installation, Oréll TSE gave training to the faculty members providing a clear description of the software and its various functions and features.

iTell standard edition is an integrated language learning solution that will provide realistic, native-speaker models of the language in a variety of media. It does assessment of students’ pronunciation enabling self-evaluation for students. The intensive practice sessions help students to repeat lessons and exercise until they get proficient in language.

Sainik School Bhubaneswar was started by Late Shri Biju Patnaik the then Chief Minister of Orissa on 15 Jan 1962. The primary objective of Sainik School is to prepare boys academically, physically and mentally for entry into the National Defence Academy. The School is managed by three tier system of management VIX Sainik Schools Society, Ministry Defence as its apex body , Local Board of Administration and the School staff comprising of Principal ,Headmaster Registrar, Academic and Administrative staff.
