Oréll Language Lab Implemented at ZMHS Poolamangalam

Oréll language lab has been implemented at Zainudeen Memorial High School Poolamangalam, one of the private-aided high schools located in Tirur of Malappuram district.

Implementation of Oréll language lab was carried out as part of the Complete Education Project initiated by the honourable MLA of Thirur legislative Assembly Mr C. Mammootty in co-operation with Keltron-India's first and the largest State electronics enterprise.

By attending language classes using Oréll language lab, the learners can improve their communication skills and English language proficiency to a greater extent. The high quality language learning material provided along with this interactive multimedia tool helps the teachers to assign works if she hasn’t prepared one for the class. Students can communicate privately with the teacher using the software and can clarify their doubt without distracting the whole class. Besides improving the listening speaking reading and writing skills of the students, they get good exposure to picturesque words, meaningful vocabulary, expressions, comprehensions and other literary genres.

The Reading/Recording/Comparing facility credited with this digital language lab helps the students to improve their listening and reading skills through comparing and assessing their own recorded voices with the original audio. The students can comprehend British and American accent of words using this software and can practise the necessary one according to their curriculum. Through this language lab, teacher can give individualised attention to students who stand backward in language skills.

Zainudeen Memorial High School, a co-educational aided school founded in 1984 is situated in the Kuttippuram block in Malappuram district. The standard version of Oréll language lab implemented at the school is helpful for the students of the institution to get a strong base in English language and communication skills.
